Dale Scudder, M.A.
"My goal is to empower individuals so that they may live their most fulfilling lives. I aim to create a supportive, safe space for individuals to honestly explore themselves. Through this self-exploration we have the opportunity to define one’s personalized goals and understand the formation of maladaptive thoughts and behaviors interfering with goal achievement. A strengthened sense of self-awareness allows for the establishment of a healthier internal dialogue, which combined with practical skill development, promotes lasting positive change."
Dale Scudder received her Masters of Arts and Masters of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. Dale is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through the BECK Institute of CBT. Dale has eight years of experience working with adults and adolescents dually diagnosed with substance use and mental health disorders. She approaches therapy with a trauma informed, relational lens to facilitate personalized care and implements goal-oriented interventions so that positive change is able to be sustained independently.
