Alexa Rivera, MD
As a psychiatrist specializing in the youth population, I recognize the impact that biological, psychological and social factors have on mental health. I aim to work collaboratively with each individual and integrate therapeutic techniques with psychotropic medications to treat an array of mental health conditions. My goal is to help individuals achieve their own unique goals in life.
Dr. Rivera is a general psychiatrist based in New York City. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from The Florida State University College of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital. Dr. Rivera is currently undergoing further specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at The Mount Sinai Hospital with an aim to provide comprehensive and evidence-based care starting in childhood and continuing throughout adulthood.
